The first and foremost thought I had was of the reflection of city lights upon a wet street. This glare puts me almost into a trance if I stare at it since I awe to it's beauty. I related this awe to the emotion to experiencing a loss, the loss of a Ryo Hazuki's father or the loss of a kitten's mother.       But the emotion changes at the very end of this short piece. It changes from sadness to anger. While the kitten tries it's best just to survive, Ryo Hazuki will put his own life at risk to revenge the death of his father. This sacrifice of life to the forces of anger is definitely one of the evils in our lives that many people face, and it is the theme of the final part of this song.       I love the contrast between the sad and the angry parts of this short arrangement of a simple piano piece found in the game Shenmue. It puts me in a short trance like that of the city lights reflecting off of a wet street.	Rating
