It was Zeff that persuaded me to attempt to create background music for rap. This song represents my attempt at creating this background music. I think that I did a very good job upon the task I set out to do although I don't know of any rapper that would rap to the beat that I created. There are many nice experimental touches and melodic ideas that make it suitable for listening as a normal piece of music. A rapper would need to be very intense to match the gestures given in this piece. Had I worked with an actual rapper and not a person through the internet, I'm sure that it'd be possible to corridnate a suitable track. The idea behind the music is that Superman falls from his former glory and becomes a meak human being. This idea, atleast the idea of him being weak, was done when DC Comics decided to "kill Superman." Most people know about this battle with Doomsday that killed Superman but I was not. It's strange that my idea matched with the DC Comic that I had no former knowledge of. |
