He, the humble and seemingly harmless man, is the Shinobi. He defends his land with unforgiving valor and will stop at nothing to destroy any evil that arises. Running like the wind, he is Joe Musashi! The music that was used was from the first Shinobi game as found in the Sega Master System port. The music is played while fighting against bosses in the game. I choose this song to arrange because of one of the bosses which happens to be near impossible to beat. This boss is the one at the end of level three. Although seemingly simple with multiple power ups, if you die once and loose all of your powerups, then there will be no chance to advance to the next level. My arrangement shows my own resolve to beat this boss as a child. I mastered the technique and was able to conquer what was seemingly impossible beforehand. Thus, I paint the picture of Joe Musashi, the main character, walking over the wreckage of this boss. This music, then, is shown as the theme song of the all-powerful Joe Musashi. |
