Story Behind the Music
Life, altogether, is a wonderous thing. God created all things, and all things live through God. Every intricate detail is part of what we call life.
Human life is among the most perplexing creatures that God made. Why would he create beings that would kill themselves, put into poverty their community, take advantage of those less fortunate? This is something I try to reason with many times. Our hearts are filled with love, yet our actions are filled with hate.
But human life is not just perplexing for the things that we do that are destructive. We have reasoning. We can communicate with language, study our surroundings, discover cures to fatal diseases, and sacrifice ourselves in the name of the poor and less fortunate. Two extremes fill our blood. These extremes are flooded by reason and by our heart. Reason can be used towards either a good or a bad means. Our goal is to use all reason towards all that is good.
All of this starts at the moment of conception within a mother's womb. Although only seen through a microscope, an individual's life has been determined from this one unnoticed event. Their God given self is mapped out in every facit of the new individual's DNA. All that occurs from that point on is nurishment until, hopefully, natural death. This conception is among the most perplexing things of our human nature. And it is this which I wrote a song about.
